Hi everyone, welcome back to my space

At the time of writing this, Malaysia is going through yet another lockdown until early June(hopefully).

Anyway, due to the pandemic, I try to avoid crowded places and only go out whenever necessary to halt the transmission of Covid-19, hence, a lot of my shopping has since transitioned to online.

If you’ve never heard of SHEIN before, it is an online clothing store based in China that focuses on women’s clothing. I did a quick search on SHEIN and read many rave reviews on the brand, and proceeded to place my first order!

What I Love About SHEIN?

1. Affordable clothing and accessories for both men & women.

One of the things that caught my eye about SHEIN has got to be the price point. SHEIN mostly sells women’s clothing at a fairly cheap price point. On average, I have spent about RM30-50 per dress which is less than half of what I usually spend on other clothing retailers.

2. You’ll be spoiled with choices

SHEIN is one of the largest online fashion retailers offering the latest in cutting edge style and trends. When I first browsed the website, I spent a good one hour just going through the enormous selection of dresses on SHEIN, and even then I was not even half way through. I also love how there is a constant update on the clothing items and new collections that are being added on SHEIN.

3. Visible reviews from other buyers

One of my favourite things about SHEIN is that you can see verified reviews left by other shoppers on each of the clothing item. This will give you a better view of the outfit before making a purchase.

4. Fast shipping and convenient payment gateway

As SHEIN ships out from Hong Kong, it takes about 6 to 10 days for delivery to Malaysia. Also, SHEIN accepts all major credit cards as well as GrabPay which is a huge PLUS!

What I Do Not Like About SHEIN?

1. Return Policy
Although SHEIN has a 45 days return policy, the shipping fee is at your own cost which is approximately about RM70 which in my opinion isn’t worth it.

2. Quality
After shopping on SHEIN a couple of times now, although majority of the items are of good quality, there are a few that are subpar.

Nonetheless, I am pleased with the majority of my purchases from SHEIN and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wardrobe update without having to burn a hole in your pocket. Don’t forget to check out my haul to see what I picked out from SHEIN.
